The Thebes Marble Chair is a low-back chair carved from a solid block of Italian marble, designed by McGannon Saad for Pistore Marmi. Its gently concave seat is shaped for comfort, and the durable natural stone makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings.

Part of the Thebes collection — which reimagines objects from antiquity in a contemporary form — the chair is monolithic yet delicate, uniting traditional Italian marble craftsmanship with modern machine carving. Pistore Marmi has interpreted natural stone in the Veneto since 1960.

Care and Maintenance

For the routine maintenance of natural stones, use a clean, well-wrung damp cloth and immediately dry. Protect the surface from aggressive events, intense heat, and acidic products (wine, coffee, lemon, vinegar, and the like). Absolutely avoid abrasive products. Marble, by its nature, has poor resistance to acidic substances that can corrode its surface by penetrating the pores and creating stains. Therefore, in case of acidic substances spilled on the surface, dry immediately. Any stains may be irremovable, permanently damaging the surface.
