The Hembury Stackable Chair is the stacking version of the Hembury — a Solidwool shell on a chrome-plated steel frame, built for communal and contract spaces. Made from British Welsh Mountain or Herdwick wool with a recycled wool core, each shell uses roughly one whole fleece.

Functional design for everyday use: the steel frame stacks for easy storage while keeping the warmth and texture of natural British wool. Made in Devon.

Materials & Certifications

Made using black and white Welsh Mountain or Herdwick wool. GreenPoxy High Bio-based Carbon Content Resin system, independently certified using Carbon 14 measurements ASTN D6866 or XP CEN/TS16640.
Black powder coated recycled steel frame.
Hand turned British Ash legs, sustainably sourced and FSC certified.
Leg finish: Light Natural or Dark Scorched
Foot option: Felt pads or carpet glides.
Each chair individually numbered.

Care and maintenance

General cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp non-abrasive cloth. Do not use cleaning products containing harsh chemicals or bleach on the legs or Solidwool.
To maintain the ash legs, we recommend Osmo
Spray Cleaner. It cares for the oil finish on the legs
without drying out the wood.
